| SERVICE DAY  Next Service Day: Saturday, September 6 All Portland area students are welcome to join us for service days. They are held twice a month on Saturday mornings and begin at 8:00 am. There are a wide variety of projects going on at any time, including: replacing the paving stones in the shrine area, Participating in service day is a wonderful way to get to know other students, learn a new skill or hone an existing one, and contribute in a tangible way to the welfare of a spiritual community. We work until 12:30 pm, and then all participants are invited to stay for lunch. Upcoming service days: September 6 and September 20.
