Howard Boster was recently named Director of Nityananda Institute, Inc. Sharon Ward's was named General Counsel. Both will continue to be based in the Portland, Oregon office of the Institute.
Swami Chetnanananda will be joining Master Charles Cannon and Swami Shankarananda for two weeks of programs in Santa Monica, California, September 12 through the 25. For details, visit www.the3gurus.com.
Swami Chetanananda will be giving programs at Tibet House, New York City, from October 1 through October 4. Details are in the PDF flyer.
There will be two intensive practice retreats in Portland, Oregon, with Swami Chetanananda in 2005. The dates are July 20 through 24 and December 27 through 31. Call the Nityananda Institute office for details. 503.231.0383.
The date for the next Queen of Great Bliss pujas will be Sunday, October 2. The puja takes place in the Nityananda Institute meditation hall from 6 to 8 p.m.
A new study group will begin on Tuesday, September 6, to read and discuss Longchenpa's Precious Treasury of the Basic Space of Phenomena and the accompanying commentary. The group meets every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:15 pm in the Nityananda Institute living room.
The next service project days will be Saturday, September 10 and 17, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. (Note the new starting time). Lunch follows.
