Puja for Prosperity on Sunday, June 15

Vaishravana Puja

Lama Wangdu Rinpoche will lead a Vaishravana Puja for the prosperity of the Nityananda Institute community on Sunday, June 15, beginning at 5:00 pm in the Portland meditation hall.

Vaishravana is one of the principal wealth deities in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and is the guardian king of the North. There's a short article about him at the Exotic India website.

This ceremony is a beautiful and joyous one, and includes a tsok (feast offering). We hope you can join us.
